The carrier which at one time had a fleet of over 20 passenger aircraft and short-medium haul freighters, will phase out the cargo operation throughout 2017.
The process started already in October when Jet Time ceased operations for SAS Scandinavian Airlines. This service was operated with three ATR72-500s.
Jet Time also has five B737-400Fs which are operated on an ACMI basis for Belgium’s ASL Airlines, which uses them on behalf of TNT Express within Europe.

Business model will be redesigned
All five Jet Time freighters are in turn on lease from three different lease companies.
These will be handed back during 2017 and new operators are being sought to take the aircraft.
The Danish carrier will also cut its passenger business by giving up an ACMI passenger operation for SAS.
The carrier is presently restructuring its business model in order to help streamline its financial position.
It is expected that by the end of 2017 Jet Time will operate only with a fleet of eight B737-800 passenger aircraft.
