Guangzhou-based startup freighter operator, China Air Cargo Corporation, has revealed its first Boeing 757-200 freighter, which will be used for domestic and international cargo and mail services, together with a fleet of indigenous MA600Fs.
The ex-Xiamen Airlines Boeing 757-200F of which China Air Cargo Corporation has ordered two, has been converted by Precision Aircraft Solutions. The U.S.-based conversion specialist has another
order for six similar 757Fs for China Postal Airlines.
China Air Cargo is a joint venture co-funded by Joy Air Holding (45%), Guangzhou Donlinks Group (35%) and Beijing Fuda Asset Management (20%) with a registered capital of 500 million yuan.
Based at Guangzhou Baiyun International Airport (CAN), the new cargo airline has been licensed for domestic (including Hong Kong/Macao/Taiwan) and international cargo & mail air
carriage.
China Air Cargo is a limited company with Wu Wei, Vice-President of Joy Air (JR) running it.
